Be a part of a world-class academic health-care system at UChicago Medicine within our NCI-designated Cancer Center as a Cancer Program Nurse Navigator. In this role, you will collaborate with the entirety of the multi-disciplinary Breast Cancer program to provide patients the highest quality of care. As a navigator focused on breast cancer, you will serve as the outpatient clinical liaison and a single point of contact for patients. You will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients as they move from initial diagnosis through survivorship. You help ensure timely delivery of care and eliminate potential barriers, identify resources, and serve to enhance breast cancer disease management and the patient experience.   In this role, the Cancer Program Nurse Navigator is responsible for providing education and emotional support to patients and families, in addition to connecting patients with needed community and hospital resources.
