The CDS is also responsible for providing informal and formal education to all members of the care team regarding clinical documentation.     Clinical Documentation Specialist Education and Experience Requirements:  - Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited academic body. - Must be actively licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state of Illinois. - Must have a minimum of five years' progressive work experience working as a Registered Nurse. - Must have basic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet utilization. - Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to develop and foster effective physician communication. - Must have the analytic skills necessary to clinically assess medical records. - Must have excellent prioritization and organizational skills. - Holding the CCS coding credential is preferred. - Holding a Master’s degree in Nursing or another healthcare-related field is preferred. - Experience working in Case Management, Med/Surg, or Critical Care Nursing preferred.

Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine as the Director of Real Estate is directly responsible for leading the real estate activities across the UCMC enterprise, which include UChicago Medicine, BSD, Ingalls, and UChicago Care Network. This role will work closely with senior leadership on both thought leadership activities and strategic execution of the overall real estate portfolio. UChicago Medicine is an integrated academic and community health system with multiple primary medical facilities within the surrounding suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. This role will be a flexible hybrid position requiring travel to potential and acquired sites surrounding the Chicagoland area and will have a dual reproting relationship with the VP, Planning, Design, Construction and Real Estate and VP Business Development.    The Director of Real Estate will be the first point of contact for all real estate matters within the UCMC enterprise and will work with leadership throughout the enterprise to evaluate real estate needs, assist in the process of any real estate matters and implement solutions ranging from lease renewals/terminations, new site selection and expansion as well as disposal/subleasing of excess property.  It will work in cooperation with the Office of Construction Compliance to ensure adherence to M/WBE participation on all development projects and where applicable to other aspects of real estate transactions.    Who you are:   A unique and energetic leader who will be able to provide key real estate market analysis and strategies that are beneficial to the organization.
