Job Summary
The Process Transformation Manager is responsible for supporting and leading Lean transformation initiatives throughout University of Chicago Medical Center. Under direction of Assistant Director of Supply Chain Operations & Transformation, this position is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of supply chain system implementation related projects on a wide variety of business units and programs. This position implements and supports actions that are developed to reduce variation, eliminate waste, and improve the experience of patients, physicians and caregivers. Work with customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans. Uses project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provides customer satisfaction and reporting structures and insure quality of projects. This position will use lean management techniques to assist in the redesign of the supply chain processes including implementation of JIT, Kanban, and RFID technology. This position will also have responsibility for assisting in the redesign and implementation of a campus wide logistical program to reduce cycle times and improve material flow and inventory accuracy while optimizing on-hand inventory.
Essential Job Functions
Reviews, monitors and documents employee performance and regularly provides feedback related to achievement of established organizational and departmental goals. Meets regularly with other departments and direct reports to facilitate communication, goal setting and decision making. Completes annual performance assessments.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
