Job Description

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine as a UHI Coordinator.

 

The UHI Coordinator provides cross-program coordination and operational support for several UHI initiatives at UChicago Medicine. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by handling essential administrative and logistical functions such as ordering office supplies, managing supply chain processes, scheduling and calendar management for program leaders, and coordinating logistics for meetings, trainings, and events. The coordinator also supports care coordination operations, assisting teams with program needs such as patient resource coordination and communication across care teams.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supporting UHI leaders with calendar management and scheduling meetings
  • Perform project and departmental administrative activities, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, developing meeting agendas, gathering support materials, and documenting notes
  • Ordering supplies for the UHI main office and completing all purchase orders, check requests, and maintaining an organized system to track ongoing progress. Understanding the hospital operating system to expedite and maximize efficiency.
  • Helping prepare and print program materials, patient education packets, or outreach supplies for community events
  • Helping coordinate patient supplies as needed, and auditing program expenditures aligned with patient support funds
  • Supporting general operations for care coordination program

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in administrative, project, or program management support or related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Competence using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

 

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits.  The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.

 

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
