Job Description

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, Uchicago Medicine as a Physician Liaison in the CMG Network Development Admin - Hyde Park Department. This position will be primarily a work from home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed.  

 

The Physician Liaison for the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) serves as a key relationship manager between the network and its affiliated providers. This role is responsible for engaging with physicians and practice leadership to support clinical integration efforts, optimize use of electronic health records (EHRs), and improve provider performance through data-driven strategies. The liaison will educate and support providers in understanding quality dashboards, performance metrics, and best practices to ensure alignment with network goals. 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CIN-affiliated providers to promote engagement and collaboration.
  • Facilitate provider education and utilization of quality dashboards and EHR functionalities.
  • Monitor and report on provider performance metrics; provide actionable insights to improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support practices in understanding and achieving performance goals related to value-based care contracts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and CIN initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to network leadership on provider needs, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new CIN providers and staff.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with exposure to quality improvement or value-based care.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of provider performance metrics, quality dashboards, and clinical workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to drive to provider offices in the Chicago area

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a Clinically Integrated Network or Accountable Care Organization (ACO).
  • Knowledge of CMS quality programs (e.g., MIPS, HEDIS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with population health platforms and performance management tools.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

 

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits.  The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.

 

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
