In this role as an Oncology Financial Navigator Supervisor, you will oversee the dedicated team of Cancer Care Insurance Specialists supporting our patients through their treatment while serving as a critical bridge between clinical care and revenue cycle. You'll manage a team responsible for optimizing oncology revenue workflows, ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, referral needs, Medicaid follow up and insurance statuses. This role requires close collaboration with clinical departments to address patient insurance issues, support new care initiatives, and facilitate effective insurance navigation for complex oncology treatments. You'll serve as the key liaison between oncology departments and operations teams, translating clinical needs into effective revenue processes. A core responsibility includes managing work queue volumes to ensure timely patient outreach, authorization management, and cancer care financial navigation; all aimed at reducing barriers to care while maximizing appropriate reimbursement for oncology services.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
