Join one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic medical centers, UChicago Medicine, as an OCM Communications and Training Lead on our Office of Technology Change Mangement team. This position will be primarily a work-from-home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed.
The OCM Communications and Training Lead is responsible for developing communications and delivering training across strategic IT initiatives. This role enhances change management activities within the IT PMO. A key objective of this role is to support design, development, and delivery of communications and training capabilities for IT initiatives and corresponding business workflows/processes to achieve IT strategic priorities. In this role, the individual will build relationships between IT and business stakeholders to effectively facilitate change management through existing communication and training channels. The role will partner closely with UCM IT, clinical, operational, and organization leaders to support change transformation across the enterprise. The primary responsibility will be applying change management processes and tools that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. In addition, the Communications and Training Lead is responsible for working with other leaders to support the IT portfolios that include project/program initiation activities, project/program budget management, and risk and issue mitigation.
The successful candidate will be professional, energetic, and passionate about what they do. They will have demonstrated leadership skills, a strategic mindset, ability to multitask and problem solve, strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The Communications and Training Lead will have exceptional writing, training development and delivery skills, and have a very strong strategic focus, enabling the change-adoption of the next generation of IT solutions.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
