Join UChicago Medicine, as an ETL Analyst/Data Scientist in the Enterprise Architecture department. This position will be primarily a work from home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
In support of the UChicago ADAMS Center, the ETL Analyst/Data Scientist will have two main functions: (1) leverage statistical analysis, predictive and prescriptive modeling, and advanced visualizations to assist organizational leadership with operations, change monitoring, strategic planning, research, publications, and program development; and, (2) serve as an Extract-Transform-Loading (ETL) expert on ingesting new data sources into supported applications and identify and design data management solutions to benefit UChicago. Working with both internal and external stakeholders, the ETL Analyst/Data Scientist will design and deliver data models, data structures, and informatics solutions using appropriate statistical analyses to meet business, clinical, and research analytics needs and partner with IT and data warehouse teams to implement, enhance, and maintain ongoing solutions. The ETL Analyst/Data Scientist will be an essential team member to guide and enable advanced analytics and decision making that influence strategic goals across UChicago including to maximize clinical effectiveness, enhance quality of care, minimize waste, and catalyze a cutting edge biomedical and public health research agenda.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
