Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Location: University of Chicago Medicine – Hinsdale, IL
Position Type: Full-Time

1,500 Sign on Bonus ELIGIBLE

 

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to provide expert care to patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal and postpartum concerns, chronic pelvic pain, incontinence, and other related conditions. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll be embedded in practice alongside top specialists to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients on prevention strategies and self-management techniques to improve long-term outcomes.

 

Qualifications:
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois.
• Specialized training and/or certification in pelvic health physical therapy (e.g., Herman & Wallace, APTA CAPP-Pelvic certification) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pelvic health.
• Autonomous practitioner with excellent collaboration skills.
