Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine as a Senior Manager for the Corporate Accounting and Consolidations department.This position will be a rotational remote position, requiring you to be onsite 1-2 days per week. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Consolidations supports the preparation of the consolidated financial results of the University of Chicago Health System and related partnerships. This position is responsible for overseeing the accurate delivery of the consolidated financial statements. This role also supports the preparation and audit of quarterly debt compliance and financial statement reporting requirements, in partnership with our Treasury department, and ensures timely delivery to our bond and debt holders. More broadly, this position also supports the monthly close process with the Shared Services Accounting Team, focusing on corporate accounting for Investment, Debt, Pledges, Eliminations and Partnerships, along with participation in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring proper documentation and support. The Senior Manager must develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with departments and individuals both internally and with external joint venture partner finance and accounting teams. The individual will work with the Associate System Controller in building out a financial reporting framework and processes that will execute a shared services process for financial reporting.
