Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as the Executive Director of Clinical Applications. We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for driving excellence in clinical IT applications to spearhead the management and improvement of our IT clinical applications portfolio. This pivotal role involves overseeing a comprehensive range of systems, including inpatient, outpatient, ancillary clinical, revenue cycle, population health and care management applications, as well as managing Epic Connect and software development initiatives. As a key member of our senior IT leadership team, you will shape the future of our clinical applications, ensuring we deliver top-tier services and innovative solutions to enhance patient care and organizational efficiency.
In this high-impact role, the Executive Director (ED), Clinical Applications will lead a diverse team comprised of Epic Training, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Engineering, and Clinical Communications professionals. Your leadership will drive the establishment of departmental objectives, communication of application standards, and identification of new vendors and resources. With a focus on building strong client relationships and fostering effective communication, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT department’s reputation for excellence and innovation.
