We're hiring a Clinical Nurse Educator for a full-time position at the University of Chicago Medicine in Hyde Park, Illinois!
Shift: 4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour scheduling available
Shift note: This role supports the prep and recovery areas of the Perioperative and procedural areas, this includes the adult and pediatric population.
A Clinical Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse (RN) with previous educational experience whose focus is on staff development and nursing education. This Registered Nurse (RN) is an educator, consultant, role model, staff/patient advocate, change agent, leader and cost effective professional. In collaboration with nursing leadership, the Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) designs, develops, implements, and evaluates a variety of educational offerings in order to improve nursing care and clinical/organizational outcomes. The Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) elevates the standard of professional nursing practice at UCM by developing, coaching and mentoring staff to become expert clinicians and leaders.
