We're hiring an Endoscopy Technician for a full-time rotating day shift in the Hyde Park, Illinois location!
Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, includes occasional weekend and holiday coverage
The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting in the collection of data for an objective assessment to identify the patient’s needs, problems, concerns or human responses. The Endoscopy Technician assists the M.D. as well as the RN (if applicable) in pre-op, intra procedure, and post-op. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting in procedure set-up, documentation of scope usage, pre-cleaning, transport, and other duties as assigned. The technician will also be responsible for procedures done in the inpatient setting and assist assisting in procedure set-up at the patient’s bedside, and appropriate documentation of scope usage, pre-cleaning, transport.
