Chaplain, Job, Spiritual Care, Registry, University of Chicago Medicine - Hyde Park
We’re hiring for a Registry Chaplain for Spiritual Care in Hyde Park.
The Chaplain, Registry, provides spiritual care to patients, their families, and our staff, and functions as a resource to all staff concerning religious and spiritual matters pertaining to patient care.
Our clinical trained chaplains are available to support inpatients and outpatients. They listen to what is important to each individual and remain sensitive to differences in culture, race, religion and sexual orientation. They are present to provide care for the patients/loved ones. This role will be about 2 12 hour shifts/week; a typical week includes one weeknight shift (10:30pm-7:00am) and one weekend shift (7:00am-7:00pm). Will need to have a flexible schedule and will be expected to work some Sundays.
