Electrophysiology Technician II, Full-Time (1.0), Rotate Shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, Hyde Park, Illinois
We’re hiring an Electrophysiology Technician II to work in a full-time permanent position at our main campus in Hyde Park, Illinois!
Under the immediate direction of an attending physician, the Electrophysiology Technician II assists in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases in the Cath and Electrophysiology labs. Some of the specialties performed in the labs include advanced electrophysiology device placement/implantation, ablations (including 3 dimensional mapping of complex arrhythmias), cardiac event monitoring and cardioversion.
In this role, you are responsible for operating physiologic and radiographic equipment while working in an invasive procedure area. The the Electrophysiology Technician II collaborates with all disciplines for well-coordinated care, prepare the patient for the procedure by performing assigned tasks (i.e. scrub, recording, circulating) and assists with other activities that will facilitate effective/efficient use of the resources in the pre and post-procedure phases.
