The Lead Flow Cytometry & Medical Technologist in the Advanced Cellular Therapeutics Facility (ACT Facility) functions as a hospital staff member, under the direction of a facility manager and director.
In this dynamic role, you will collect, evaluate, process, preserve and re-infuse unique cells that are vital to patient recovery and survival. This individual will also be responsible for the operation and acquisition of data from the flow cytometry instrument, as well as the maintenance of the flow cytometer. The Lead Flow Cytometry & Medical Technologist operates and acquires data from the flow cytometry instrument, which is reviewed and prepared for reports. This individual maintains the proper functioning of the flow cytometer, and aims for expertise in all aspects of flow cytometry for use in our clinical trial portfolio.
