The Nurse Practitioner is an advance practice nurse responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management. The ARNP manages a caseload of patients and exercises autonomous decision making in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of delegated medical treatments. The scope of practice includes family support, discharge planning, staff education, consultation and research.
CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cell). A type of treatment in which a patient's T cells (a type of immune system cell) are changed in the laboratory so they will attack cancer cells.
