    We're hiring a Manager of Patient & Visitor Engagement for the Patient Care Services department for a Full-Time role at the University of Chicago Medicine in Hyde Park, Chicago, IL.

    In this role, the Manager of Patient and Visitor Engagement will partner with Nursing, Public Safety, Emergency/Trauma Services and other various teams, to proactively support patients and families who may need specialized outreach and additional assistance that will improve their comfort while visiting UCM. This role will focus on developing, defining and executing UCM’s commitment as a patient- and family-centered organization, in tandem with organizational leaders and teams.



    Manager of Patient & Visitor Engagement Education and Experience Requirements: 


    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic body is preferred.
    • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in patient experience.
    • Experience in program development and facilitation skills are highly preferred.
    • Must have an outstanding service ethic, be comfortable assisting with policy and procedure protocols, have participated in hiring, eliminations, and performance evaluations. You need to be flexible with hours and on-call duties.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with focus on high professionalism for the purpose of communicating sensitive information is critical to the success of this role.
    • Must be proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Office Suite and web searches.
