Medical Technologist – Rapid Response Laboratory - Full Time Rotating Shift
We're hiring for a Medical Technologist (Generalist) to support the Clinical Laboratories Rapid Response Laboratory in Chicago, IL.
The Rapid Response Laboratory is a newly formed laboratory section at UChicago Medicine that supports stat testing across our Pediatric and Adult Emergency Departments including our recently launched Adult Trauma Service. In this role, the Medical Technologist will perform a wide range of clinical utilizing a variety of methodologies and instrumentation including blood gas, urinalysis, coagulation, and chemistry testing. As a top-tier comprehensive academic medical center, we take patient care and safety very seriously, and we follow laboratory policies and procedures and in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements in order to provide results of the highest level of quality to physicians and their patients.
Technologist certification through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent
